Thursday, April 2, 2009

i've never seen April's fool take off on the internet in such a large scale before, I simply just had to post some!

1) "Warner Bros. acquires The Pirate Bay."

"Warner Brothers Inc. announced today that it has agreed to acquire The Pirate Bay, the consumer media company for people to share original copies through a Web experience, for $13.37 billion in a stock-for-stock transaction. Following the acquisition, The Pirate Bay will operate independently to preserve its successful brand and passionate community."

$13.37, I underlined it on purpose. The PDF document can be torrented here, if you really want to.

2) "Youtube's New Layout"

3) "Windows Live Messenger's automatic mood detection"

"We're happy to announce that due to the great breakthroughs from Microsoft Reasearch, we have an alpha version working that monitors your real-time physiological state and translates that into a mood (happy, sad, anxious, etc), such that you would never have to enter an emoticon again. At the core of this technology is the patented Human Attitude Heuristic Algorithm, which uses simple instruments, such as a body heat monitor, webcam and keypad pressure sensor to automatically determine your mood and appropriately insert emoticons/phrases directly into your IM conversations… saving you both time and energy."

...Human Attitude Herristic Algorithm really does stands for HAHA.

4) "Introducing Google chrome with 3D"

It is said the 3D in google chrome actually does really work, but the paper Glasses are fake. (DUH)

5) "Save Internet Explorer 6"

you guys should try out the download wizard they have there. It's hilarious.

"The SaveIE6 campaign was launched on April 1, 2009 and will last until April 1, 2010."

6) Photobucket
